About TimeAnd
TimeAnd clusters breaking news from multiple sources so you can see the full picture — not just one outlet's take.
How it works
TimeAnd continuously ingests articles from dozens of news publishers via RSS feeds and public APIs. Using vector similarity, articles covering the same event are automatically grouped into stories.
A story only appears in the feed when it has been independently reported by at least two distinct publishers. This multi-source requirement is the core quality gate — it ensures you see corroborated reporting, not single-outlet takes or press releases.
Editorial approach
TimeAnd is fully algorithmic. There are no human editors selecting, prioritizing, or modifying stories. Headlines are generated from the cluster of source titles. Summaries are extracted from source content. Topic and region tags are inferred from article text.
This means TimeAnd has no editorial opinion. Stories rise in the feed based on source diversity, freshness, and momentum — not on any editorial judgment about what you should read.
Source diversity
Every story on TimeAnd shows which publishers are covering it and how many independent sources have reported on it. When you click through to a source, you go directly to the original article on the publisher's site. TimeAnd never republishes full article text.
